Office of Institutional Equity and Belonging

The Office of Institutional Equity and Belonging, part of Sonoma State’s Division of Student Affairs, is dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging for all members of our community. Through programs like the HUB Cultural Center and the Affinity Faculty Staff Association, we strive to create an inclusive environment that reflects California’s diversity and supports the success of students, staff, and faculty. Belonging is at the heart of our work. We collaborate across campus to develop policies, host critical dialogues, and provide anti-racism and anti-bias education. By creating welcoming spaces and equitable opportunities, we aim to ensure everyone feels valued, supported, and connected to the Sonoma State community.
